Storage Conditions
In order to ensure the integrity and longevity of our copper-plated steel products, JOBASI has established a strict policy for the packaging and storage of these items. These guidelines aim to guarantee quality and protection against corrosion, in full compliance with the highest safety and preservation standards.
1. Packaging
All products must be kept in their original packaging until used.
2. Storage location
Store in a closed, dry and ventilated warehouse. To prevent humidity, a drying agent should be placed next to the product.
Corrosive items may not be stored in the same place where copper-plated steel products are stored.
A humid environment accelerates oxidation and corrosion of the copper layer.
In the storage area, if products need to be moved, they should be placed on pallets, never in direct contact with the ground. The minimum height of the products must be 100 mm and there must be no moisture on the ground or adjacent products.
3. Product shipping
Os produtos enviados para estaleiros de obras devem obedecer rigorosamente às instruções de armazenamento do ponto 2. Não devem ser armazenados no estaleiro de obras por muito tempo.
Se for necessário manusear as paletes com peças de ferro, estas devem ser pintadas ou lacadas para evitar reação eletrolítica com a camada de cobre na superfície do produto. Se for utilizada madeira na base, certifique-se de que o solo está seco e que a madeira não esteve em contacto com substâncias corrosivas.
